Karty misses from 51 yds :(

Irvin's run was amazing.  Stayed low and upright, absorbing badly angled hits while moving laterally, very McCaffrey-esque.  I think CMac would have had the speed to outrun the secondary, but it was a great run regardless.  Let's hope it's not the only magical moment of the game.

At end 1st
Defense given up a lotta yards but stiffened when needed
Offense gained some good yards (including Yurosek back in action!) but screwed up when it counted
And we still specializing in Coach Shaw “legacy” negative plays
Bachmeier coulda shoulda had TD catch
Turns out Karty is human after all
Altogether tho, so far, much better then the beat down I expected

Play calling is very cautious. 3rd down and 10 and we’ve run several times and finally passed into the flat for no gain.

Three play TD drive, all chunk plays (14 yds, 17 yds, 36 yds for the TD).  That Arizona offensive coordinator is really dialed in.
