We lead 34-25 at the half after ASU came back in the second seizing on Haley's foul trouble and Brink's absence to make a run in the second quarter.
We are holding the Sun Devils to 27% shooting, but we are giving them more opportunities as they have 9 offensive rebounds and we turned the ball over 9 times as well.
This is a new challenge for us, especially on the offensive end. With two of our players who have typically ignited our offense either nursing foul trouble or unavailable, we need someone to step up besides Kiana and Fran and get us some buckets in the second half.

And we got burned on 2 3s because defender went under screen

Inconsistent. We got hacked several times with no call. Refs should be consistent.

Our offense has been fairly one dimensional behind Belibi. We need Jones and others to step up.
Not having Brink feels like a real loss. Hope she is back soon.

Unlike Brink, Prechtel just doesn't put herself into good positions to rebound. She doesn't follow her shot to get offensive rebounds. Jerome is a step down from there.
ASU with 11 FT. Stanford with 0. Missy is ASU's MVP.

I think they just want a competitive game and usually root for the team that's trailing to make a comeback, so they can have something to talk about, but it is annoying, especially when you are the team that's leading. :)

We expand the lead to 12 points heading into the final ten, up 56-42. We go up due to a nice run at the end of the quarter as we found some offensive life. ASU had narrowed the lead down to 6 thanks to some drives to the basket, this was where we miss Brink's blocking ability and Haley couldn't be as aggressive as defense with 3 fouls.
As usual, Kiana helped orchestrate a run, with some timely midrange jumpers.

Typical unfortunately for this game. We've had 19 fouls called against us compared to their 9 and we've just had 2 FT opportunities compared to their 21.
