FWIW, the line is Stanford -7, which strikes me as about right. I'd probably go 28-21 or 28-24.

Opened at -7.5, now down to -6.5. Vegas clearly doesn't have a lot of faith in the Cardinal. Considering the value of home field, I'd guess they look at us as just slightly better.
I think it's more likely Vegas doesn't like that Stanford appears likely to be starting a true frosh QB who's never thrown a pass in college. I actually thought the line opened bigger than that. I swear a I saw -9.5 or -10.
Pedantry incoming: West is a redshirt frosh who threw passes in garbage time against Davis and Oregon State last season.

Jack West is not a true freshman quarterback (he redshirted last year). Also, he has attempted five passes in his career, completing one. In addition to handing off a bunch of times against UW, he appeared in mop-up duty last year against Davis and OSU. His career stats are 1/5 (20%) for 4 yards (0.8 ypa), 0 TD, 0 INT.

Hey, it's hard to keep track of which years are our gap years! Although knowing he went 1-5 last year might make Vegas more nervous than less.

The only guy on the field for UCLA that scares me is Chip Kelly.

Line now at -3.5. Apparently Mills out, too; West is listed as probable per the Vegas Insider web page.
Yikes!
