Talk about a body bag game played only for the guarantee...

Anyone looking at the Louisville FSU score?  56-10 with 13min to go in the game.  Louisville.  Looks like FSU is going wayyyyy down...

(This is a beating of Bama-$C proportions.)

NDSU beats #13 Iowa for first win over AP Top 25 team.

Re: Looking ahead to Week 3 games - fullmetal - 09-17-2016

Also their 6th straight win vs. FBS teams.  Either NDSU gets ranked or Iowa drops out.  Also, I worry that Louisville will jump Stanford in the rankings despite their thrashing what I feel was a very overrated FSU team.

Now 63-10.  Louisville has plenty of time for a couple more scores...and I hope they do!

Re: Looking ahead to Week 3 games - 82 Card - 09-17-2016

Ole Miss just came out against Alabama and went down the field with a combination of good passing and a big run in less than 2 minutes.

Re: Looking ahead to Week 3 games - BostonCard - 09-17-2016

Dalvin Cook 16 carries for 54 yards and one lost H-award.

Hotty toddy!

Re: Looking ahead to Week 3 games - CompSci87 - 09-17-2016

Colorado up 14-0 on Michigan, after a fumble return for TD.

Re: Looking ahead to Week 3 games - OutsiderFan - 09-17-2016

KSU making win vs. them look more impressive.  Up 35-0 to FAU in 2nd Q.

I thought Colorado would push Michigan.

Re: Looking ahead to Week 3 games - thunder_chik - 09-17-2016

Ducks 8, Huskers 0.  RB Royce Freeman on sideline with ice pack on knee/shin, per ABC announcer.

Re: Looking ahead to Week 3 games - fullmetal - 09-17-2016

Quote:During pre-game warmups, Oregon guard Cameron Hunt was screaming to his offensive line teammates, "They can't run with us. We're faster than them and more physical than them."

Quote:Oregon running back Royce Freeman is on the bench with a towel over his head and his lower right leg wrapped in ice and propped up on the bench. Several teammates walked over and patted him on the shoulder, and the Ducks' trainer is conferring with him.

From ESPN's tweet feed on espn.com, which I don't believe has publicly accessible tweet IDs that we can link...

They successfully went for two on their first drive.

Re: Looking ahead to Week 3 games - 82 Card - 09-17-2016

After the initial scoring drive, Oregon has been getting stuffed by Nebraska. TV doesn't show the full field but I'm guessing Nebraska's pass coverage must be pretty good because the Oregon QB is just standing around looking befuddled.

Re: Looking ahead to Week 3 games - dabigv13 - 09-17-2016

Colorado's D looks good, or Michigan's offense is not very good....not sure yet.

Re: Looking ahead to Week 3 games - CompSci87 - 09-17-2016

Colorado up 21-7 on Michigan now. I missed the 3rd Colorado TD, on a pass. The Michigan TD was a blocked punt return.

Re: Looking ahead to Week 3 games - OutsiderFan - 09-17-2016

KSU leads 42-0 at half.  Stanford D must be good.

Well, at least significantly better than the team they're playing, who I've never heard of.

Re: Looking ahead to Week 3 games - fullmetal - 09-17-2016

Don't look now, but Ole Miss is up 17-3 over Bama with 4:40 left in the 1H.

Colorado is kind of stalling out.  They're up 21-14, but Michigan is driving.

Oregon is handling Nebraska 20-7.

#15 Tennessee merely took care of business against Ohio (9pt win), and #25 Miami mauled App. State (35 pt win), which gave Tenn all the Vols could handle earlier this season.

Re: Looking ahead to Week 3 games - BostonCard - 09-17-2016

And Alabama is down 17-3 to ole miss.  So that may provide some context to their win over USC.

Re: Looking ahead to Week 3 games - CompSci87 - 09-17-2016

Wow, 24-3 now on a fumble return by Ole Miss.
