It looks like Chiney is rounding back to form: 26 points (which is a pro career high for her), 15 rebounds, 7 blocks, 4 steals in today's win against Dallas.
Plus, Nneka is Rebecca Lobo's favorite for MVP this season. Nneka is shooting an amazing league-leading 70.6% from the field, and is averaging 19.4 pts and 9.0 rebounds per game, both 3rd in the league.

Both Olivia and Erica Ogwumike are sitting out this season after transferring from Pepperdine to Rice.
I don't have any further info. I just checked Rice's web site after having heard a mention of them being at Rice now. Their Rice bios suggest they both played extensively and well at Pepperdine.
Obviously Rice is closer to the family home.

The Ogwumike sisters were the top two scorers for Pepperdine last season:
Olivia averaged 5.0 ppg and 3.2 rpg as a freshman, 9.3 ppg and 4.3 rpg as a sophomore.
Erica led the team with 18.4 ppg and 7.5 rpg as a freshman and was first team All-WCC.

I would say Rice is a better academic school than Pepperdine. Hope they enjoy their time there!

Nneka made it into ESPN/fivethirtyeight.com's Hot Takedown podcast:
http://espn.go.com/espnradio/play?id=17150444
It's the third story.
"She's just putting up numbers that are just eye-popping at the moment."
Her 33.2 player efficiency rating (not sure how the derive it) is third all-time in the WNBA.
She has .479 win shares per 48 minutes (again, it's an advanced stat and I'm not sure how it's derived).
According to the advanced stats, this is the second best season by a player in WNBA history (second to Lauren Jackson's 2006 season). Nice to see that they devoted some time and analysis to Nneka.

PER (the first one) is a stat invented by then-ESPN, now Memphis Grizzlies executive John Hollinger. In the NBA context, average is 15; borderline all-star around 20; superstar 25 or so. 30+ is LeBron, Steph Curry territory. Think of it as a super box score stat -- it takes all box score stats and adjusts it for minutes played and the pace of the game. It's a black box as to how it's actually derived.
Here's how win shares are calculated in the NBA:

Her .479 win shares per 48 minutes compare favorably to Michael Jordan's .251 career win shares per 48 min. To be fair, I'm sure Michael had higher individual seasons.
