Down goes Ohio State!
Well, probably actually bad for our playoff hopes...would have been better for us if Ohio State won and then Michigan beat them to win the conference with two losses. Oh well, always happy to see the Buckeyes go down.

Have to think Dantonio will be a big big big target for some of those vacancies. USC? LSU?

Irrelevant to us, but #19 Houston lost to 5-5 UConn.
I think this opens the door for Navy to be the Group of 5 representative in the New Years 6 Bowls??
Go Navy! Beat Army!

Ohio State apparently had one of the worst 10 offensive performances of any team this year.Â
http://espn.go.com/ncf/matchup?gameId=400763573
132 yards of offense, 5 first downs.Â
They finally play a decent team and get exposed, badly.
I'd bet on Michigan winning vs. Ohio State next week.Â

What kind of BS is it that Alabama in Week 12 is playing Charleston Southern and Auburn is playing Idaho and Florida State is playing Chattanooga and Florida is playing Florida Atlantic? I know we've discussed ad nauseum the embarrassing scheduling of teams in the Southeastern part of the country, but I saw these and became freshly rankled. Sheesh!!!!

Baylor up 7-0 on OSU, hopefully TCU and Baylor can help bring about some chaos in the Big12.

It's now 14-0 Baylor; if they win that will leave no undefeated Big12 teams.
And just as I type that Oklahoma State scores to make it 14-7.
A few other scores of note:
Ole Miss beat LSU 38-17; Fournette had 108 yards rushing on 25 carries.
After the tOSU loss, Ezikiel Elliot ripped the playcalling and stated that it was his last home game. Of course, maybe his 12 carries for 33 yards had something to do with it. At this point, the Voldemort is Derrick Henry's to lose.

North Carolina escaped from VTech in overtime 30-27.
Oregon finished off SC 48-28; they rolled up 578 yards of offense on 53 plays, so our defensive effort doesn't look quite as bad. USC/UCLA next week end for the P12S championship; none of the three South leaders (Utah is also 5-3 in conference but lost to the other two and has been eliminated from the race) has looked good.
UW is up 52-0 on the Beavers, and they are still in the third quarter! It was 28-0 in the first quarter, 45-0 at halftime. All of a sudden, Cal's 54-24 win over OSU last week doesn't look so great. OSU has 115 total yards.

Man I just cannot stan to watch these Big 12 games. Feels like I'm watching high school football.

Luke Falk was carted off the field. That's a tough blow for the Cougs, though they are playing Colorado.

They pretty much are. Texas HS football provides a lot of recruits for the Big 12, and it's all spread football now. The coaches have settled for scheming around their players' capabilities...viz Baylor and TCU.

I understand the the bitterness after an unexpected defeat, but this is so immature. Bunch of me-first players.

Just once I wish the coach had said "well, if he'd run for 63 yards on 10 carries instead of 33 yards, we'd have kept giving him the ball."
