The announcers sounded concerned and were glad to see him
moving his legs, then never mentioned him further. Anyone have an update?

Ukropina has the leg to try a FG at altitude.

Live posting here from the Stanford Connects event in Boston. They were savvy enough to show the game here. Otherwise I was going to set something up on the laptop. I am the only one blowing off Hennessey to watch the game.

This is a lot like Northwestern so far -- nice(ish) early drive and now it's just sloppiness the whole way down. Come on guys.

They backed themselves up just to up the drama. Nice throw and catch.

BOOM, Rector for 7. Great throw from Hogan.
Coaches need to find an adjustment for that corner blitz gimmick.

If we are going to win, we will need plays like that to make Colorado pay for being aggressive up front.

No sound. Who was the DB that got hurt? Is he OK?
Re: Colorado Game Thread -

Holder, probably with a concussion.

Someone forgot to wake the defense up

Hard to believe that this is the top team in the Pac-12 playing the second worst one. Our offense is struggling, though we do have two touchdowns in three possessions, and they are moving on our defense. At least we stop them and force them to try a fg.

FG miss by Colorado. I was worried about a fake.
Re: Colorado Game Thread -

Defense looks pitiful.
Offense needs to adjust to Colorado's DB blitz gimmick -- they've got our snap count timed well. Would be nice to get to the line faster, so we can vary our tempo a bit. But when we don't have errors we're popping big plays so...

I think it was Alameen Murphy, injured. Not Holder.

Wow, what a run by McCaffrey. My feed paused with him in the backfield, and I thought for sure he was going to be brought down based on the flow... then it picked up 40 yards downfield. What incredible vision.

We got that first down, but if ever there was a setup that called for a bootleg, it was there. Hogan could have scored, Colorado was so committed to stopping Wright.

Designed run by Hogan on third and five. First down.

Need a TD here and a stop going into the half. CU gets the ball first in the 2nd half.

4th down and a time out. I'd definitely go for it. Risk/reward payoff in Stanford's favor, for sure.
