Now they're saying 7'1". She's still growing!

Say what?!?!?!

I'm reminded of that archaic four-letter word starting with "e" and ending with "t."

LOL. After a horrific start, Oregon beat USC in LA. Oregon had a 2.9% chance of winning with less than half of the 4th quarter to go.

Interestingly, Ken Nash reffed this upset, too.

RE: WBB 2025-2026 season - BostonCard - 01-06-2026

Wow, they were down 17 points at one point, and entered the fourth quarter down 58-45.  USC led by 9 points with less than 5 minutes to go. Certainly makes our win against them look more impressive.

No surprise here.  Coach Gottlieb never recruited any HS Bigs when she got Jazzy Davidson and after the graduation of USC's entire front line last season, she started very late in looking for quality posts via the transfer portal race.  Mendes, Raulusaityte, and Milton have not been decent replacements.  The entire Trojan offense revolves around their guards: Davidson, Kennedy Smith, Kara Dunn and Londynn Jones.  It doesn't work.

Also, they did have a major injury.  probably a different team with Juju Watkins playing, even if that doesn’t fox their front court issues.

Next year they get Watkins back, plus the #2 recruit in the nation. So I suspect they will be pretty good.

with no information whatsoever, in the current climate I would not be at all shocked if Juju were not to return to USC. UCLA has flexed its muscles and Cori Close will want to reload next year and have cleared $....

Given how much money the Condoms paid to get Kiki away from us and given that when healthy Juju is one of the best players in the nation, I would be very surprised if U$C let her get away.

Yeah no way this happens. USC has just as much money if not more. Watkins didn't even visit UCLA when she was deciding.

Louisville gets an extra day of rest, as the BC @ Louisville and Duke @ Pitt are moved from Sunday to Saturday.

RE: WBB 2025-2026 season - Card10Fan - 01-25-2026

Expecting an ugly game today at Cal. Cal has played well the past few weeks leading Duke for most of the game before falling and taking Syracuse to triple OT. They seem to be playing much better and trending up while we are trending down. I think they will be out for redemption from December and looking for the season split.

RE: WBB 2025-2026 season - M T - 02-01-2026

I just tuned into #14 Baylor - #22 West Virginia.  You thought we had trouble with turnovers.
Baylor has 18 turnovers at the half.  West Virginia has 12 offensive rebounds.
Baylor went 9:58 without a FG.
With those stats, I'd expect a runaway score, but it is just 31-25 in favor of West Virginia.

The other team finished with 21 TO.
WV had 23 OR to 22 DR

Btw, I noticed that the ESPN announcers were using different stat numbers than at StatBroadcast.com.
