Well, Stanford was called the Cardinals when I arrived in 1980, so the hashtag doesn't bother me so much. But I agree that the UofS has to go.

On the other hand, I bet Josh knows that the school is in California, not Connecticut.

The guys arrived for Junior Day this morning and Clark Yarbrough apparently got an offer upon his arrival:

I'll go out on a limb and say that he is Stanford's starting LT at some point down the line.  Really solid player with a good gpa from Alex Carter's high school.

CSR has a social media summary from today. There is a pic of 3 OL. Two are yarbrough and curhan. I think the third is devery hamilton. If so, nice to see another major target fly across the country on his own dime to see Stanford. From Gilman School, which is a football power. I dont remember if Stanford has had success there though.

I have updated my Stanford football recruiting Twitter list. There are 65 accounts (members) on it, including Drukarev, the Scout guy, and a few other types, as well as some guys who are committed elsewhere, but whom we are said to be recruiting. Right now, @Mike_Williams52 seems to be tweeting heavily about anybody who's being recruited anywhere.

Neither Devery Hamilton or Clark Yarbrough are given ANY chance of signing with Stanford per 247, and Rivals doesn't even show Stanford as a possible destination for Yarbrough.  Perhaps this will change since Yarbrough seems to have landed a Stanford offer?

It's hard for me to imagine guys flying all the way across the country for a college football program's Junior Day, that has no chance of landing them.  247 has Hamilton 100% to Maryland (who Stanford clown stomped in its bowl game), and Yarbrough not even a 1% chance to Stanford, but with Virginia, Michigan, Clemson, and Duke as his only real options.

Will be interesting to see how their respective visits to Junior Day impact how the recruiting scribes see Stanford fitting into the mix for Hamilton and Yarbrough with these services.
