Lue’s five year anniversary as head coach of the Clippers will be on October 20, but I asked the question wrong since Lue has been with the Clippers since 2019.

Wasn’t sure how to make this into a question, but this is the biggest comeback in the last minute of a hockey game ever.

Vancouver was down 5-2 with a minute left in the third period and scored three unanswered goals to tie it, then one more in overtime to win it.

Who was the first Masters winner to be awarded the Green Jacket (1949)?
Also, this golfer was the first to win the Par 3 tourney (1960) that is played on the day before the tournament begins.

I think this one got burried in the last page, but Tyler O'Neill extended his record to six consecutive opening day home runs when the Orioles opened against the Blue Jays.
Anyone want to answer the question of the record? Three players hold it with eight. Prominent Giants have 7 and 6 opening day home runs.

Barry Bonds would be my guess, along with Cepeda and McCovey.
I'll guess the three with eight are Ted Williams, Rickey Henderson aaaaaaaaaaand Stan Musial.

Mays (7) and Bonds (6) are the two Giants.
Among the non-Giants with 8, I haven't seen the answer.
One player did it across four teams and three decades.

I remember Will the Thrill’s tater on the radio that day. Off Nolan Ryan, after taking the first pitch for a strike.
The other MLB debut I was lucky enough to hear live was McCovey’s 4 for 4 day off Robin Roberts. Of course, that was in July, not on Opening Day.
And no, I wasn’t around for John J McGraw or Fred Merkle….

Today was the second round of the Masters. Stanford's Maverick McNealy (+1) made the cut by a stroke.
Play was interminable. Even with a limited field of less than 100 players and benign weather on Thursday, many rounds took nearly six hours. Until this year, the process for speeding up play was:
1. 50 seconds per shot for the first to play in a group, then forty seconds for others.
2. A warning.
3. Formal timing of a shot.
4. A "freebie" (another warning)
5. After all that, a one-stroke penalty.
The new policy eliminates the "freebie." Incidentally, Regulation 5a states that the second breach is a two-shot penalty and the third breach is tournament disqualification.
After all that...when was the last time the PGA Tour handed out a slow-play penalty in a regular, individual stroke play event? (stroke play is the format for most tournaments).

1995 Honda Classic, a one-stroke penalty for slow play was given to Glen "All Day" Day...
Interestingly, Tom Kim and Patrick Cantlay are noted in the linked article for their very slow play. Both made the Masters cut by a stroke, meaning they will both be in the earliest groups. Looks like they'll be holding up the entire field today, along with Brian Harman who will play in one of the middle groups...it's going to be a long one, my guess is they will approach six hour rounds again.

Adam Dunn (8)
Ken Griffey Jr. (8)
Frank Robinson (8). First came in 1959 with the Reds, last came in 1975 when he was player/manager for Cleveland.
Eddie Matthews and Babe Ruth joined Mays with 7.

Just one left-handed hitter has hit multiple home runs in a single game off of former Giants pitcher and multiple-year All-Star, left-hander Carlos Rodon.
Who is that hitter and when did he hit them?

You are correct Sir!
Fun game. Nice to take two of three in the Bronx. Jung Hoo Lee, maybe the next big star?
Another win in which the Giants had fewer hits than their opponents.
