That is correct. We can also add Russell Wilson, Michael Jordan, Ricky Williams, Sammy Baugh, and Ron Shelton to the list.

Garth Brooks actually signed a minor league contract with the Padres. And John Dillinger was a baseball player of some promise who earned $75 a month batting leadoff and playing shortstop for a semi-pro team. The 5'7" Dillinger's nickname was "Jackrabbit" and he was supposedly drawn into a life of crime by an ex-con named Singleton who umpired his games.

I saw today that there are 8 players who have 300+ home runs and 10+ Gold Gloves. Can you name them? I think this is a tough one.

Note that the Gold Glove awards began in 1957.

Mays - 660 HRs, 12 Gold Gloves
Schmidt - 548 HRs, 10 GGs
Griffey Jr. - 630 HRs, 10 GGs

Not Clemente, Evans, Morgan, Bonds, or Fisk.

That leaves five more.

One is an American League outfielder whose entire career was before 1980.

One is an outfielder who won all of his Gold Gloves in the National League and whose entire career was after 1990.

One is a catcher.

One is a third baseman. He is the most recent player to reach 300 HRs and 10 GGs.

Cousin Robinson Cano had two gold gloves and 335 HRs...
