In the 1979 MLB draft, the Kansas City Royals drafted 37 players. Two were future Hall of Famers. Only five made the majors. Three were future Giants. Who were the Hall of Famers and who were the future Giants?

And a fun fact while we wait: Jim Kaat pitched to both Ted Williams and Julia Franco.

Ted Williams - 1939-1960 went 2 for 3 with a double and two RBI against Kaat
Jim Kaat - 1959-1983
Julio Franco - 1982-2007 Franco had a walk in his only AB against Kaat.

Hammaker was one of the Giants.  I sense a trick question here regarding the HOF guys especially since Brett wasn’t in the mix.  However, I don’t have any idea of who they are.
