I can think of someone who already did that ...
In fact I believe he won the national championship (and the Voldemort) and then won the Super Bowl the very next year as a rookie.

Yikes! Evidently, I missed the “QB” part of the equation. Thanks for the correction…..

I assumed this meant players only, but if Miller Huggins (or Joe McCarthy later) counts then you can count Ed Barrow also.

Sorry Bobbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb, I didn't mean The Duke was not in the Hall just that he didn't play on one of the teams that are the answer.
Hey Slide old buddy, close, extremely close.
New Question. The Hall of Fame recognizes only two Indigenous or Native American or Indian members with tribal blood. However one of those player's native heritage is in question. Who is he and who is the other, documented Hall member? There should be another... Allie Reynolds.
Tidbit. Christy Mathewson had a twelve year consecutive streak of victories in which he AVERAGED 27.25 wins. IMO, that mattered.

His father was German and his mother was Ojibwe. When he was taunted on the field (not uncommon in the early part of the last century), he would either smile, or yell back "Foreigners!"
He was very intelligent, according to Ty Cobb and Nap Lajoie. Could steal signs at about any time. Also credited as one of the pitchers who invented the slider, called a "nickel curve" at the time.
