According to richkern.com, Camryn Doucet is 5'7", presumably a defender.  Emma Morris 6'0"; Serena Turner 6'1"; Avi Vetter 6'0"; and Taylor Wilson 5'10".

I am sorry to see Sunny Villapando and Amelia Smith graduate, but we should continue to improve with recruits like these.

It's possible.  I've seen so many kids wearing Stanford gear at beach and indoor tournaments, it's hard to know if she is being recruited.   Or if she is one of the kids who goes around telling everyone they plan to go to Stanford.

Here is an interesting tidbit for college beach volleyball fans. This tournament was sponsored by Elite Beach Volleyball. It is primarily run by Holly McPeak who also does a lot of commentary of PAC-12 matches.

McPeak was a scholarship player for indoor vb at Cal. She is an intense competitor. Her junior year the Cal coach banned her from playing and practicing with the team; even banned her from the Cal gym if any team players were there. She decided to transfer to UCLA but needed approval from all ADs in the PAC because she had been permanently banned at Cal. She got the approval and played for UCLA her senior year.

Even though McPeak is a UCLA grad, she tells young players to not turn down the opportunity to go to Stanford if they are admitted.

Stanford beach players Hodel/Reilly win U19 World Championship USA Qualifier at Huntington Beach.   World Championship is in Thailand in September.

It wasn't that long ago Alix Klineman signed a contract with Chipotle.  I think it was a good decision by Chipotle.  Klineman and her partner have a reasonable chance to win a gold medal in Toyota.  That would result in a good deal of TV exposure for Klineman for a couple of months.

Yes.  Though I see now the Colorado club calls itself "The LAB".

Somewhere I got the idea that Hannah Fleming (class of 2023) is a possible Stanford beach recruit.

She (and her partner) won the Santa Cruz CBVA AA event Saturday, earning them AAA ratings.

[Note that there seems to be a different Hannah Fleming in Lincoln, NE, who is also a volleyball player, but class of 2022.]
