Weird. He says his app was handwritten, but Stanford uses the common app. He would be able to answer both the common app essay and the supplements on the web.

Ouch... that does not help at all.
Stanford recent success on the football field has attracted more recruits. With the increased number of early commitments, we can expect more "decommitments/admission casualties". It unfortunate because we are losing a lot of great talent especially this this year.

Now this is odd. A Michigan commit who lives in MD just followed Callie Seidman on twitter. For those who don't know, Ms. Seidman is assistant director of football operations at Stanford. I wonder how he got introduced to her and why he's following her on twitter now. ;)

Yes. Now, here's a really interesting piece of news about Ms. Seidman's tunnel worker friend. He recently followed someone from Texas who, according to twitter, currently works for State Farm. I didn't get the connection at first, but it's possible that the State Farm guy wants to become a tunnel worker as well. The Texan recently posted that he has two years to decide what he wants to do with his life. :)

True enough, but did you see that the guy from State Farm is following Andy. Again, it's odd. Normally, a person follows a school's reporter because he wants publicity with that school's fan base, but the State Farm guy has never once mentioned Stanford in a public forum.Â

I think step one would be to see who -- possibly a former Stanford recruit -- has recently followed Callie. Then, I'd look at that person's followers.

In other news, Obi Eboh cancelled his Texas official visit that had been rescheduled for this weekend. See @EJHolland247. Look at the Texas fan comments, they are sure he will flip to us.Â
Also, one source reports that Pryts visited Stanford last weekend, cancelled his UCLA visit and is at Penn State this weekend. See @RivalsSnyder.Â
