thanks for adding amari DeBerry. what do we know about her grades and her interest in stanford?

RE: Women's Basketball Updated Recruiting, Oct 28 - BobK - 04-05-2019

All I know is we have at least preliminary interest in her. As does UConn etc

RE: Women's Basketball Updated Recruiting, Oct 28 - 2006alum - 04-05-2019

UConn just fell to the Domers. If someone had told me 4+ years ago when Katie Lou Samuelson committed to UConn over us that she would never play in a title game, I'd never, ever have believed it. Makes you wonder what could have been had she followed her sisters...

bob, i know you like brooke demetre. she looks great on film. does she like us?

I'm happy she never got to play in a championship game. I believe that was the main reason she chose Yukon over Stanford.

She got her championship ring her freshman year while watching from the bench injured, and that's fine. I doubt that Yukon fans will remember her much in 5-10 years as they do many players who got them 2-3 championships.

Now her sisters have Stanford degrees as their calling card, and she will have a ring, earned by Stewie and others.

She's projected to be a first-round draft choice on Monday.  If she's going to graduate from UConn, it probably won't be this year.  WNBA season starts a week after UConn classes end.

Well, Demetre plays on the same AAU team (Cal Stars) as future Stanford teammates Jones, Jump and Brink.  I'm hoping that connection will help in her recruiting

She's already completed her undergraduate degree. https://www.journalinquirer.com/sports/uconn/on-off-court-samuelson-is-a-plus/article_7ab014bc-fc90-11e8-af53-23153ff8068f.html

Samuelson will be taking online courses in the spring to maintain her eligibility. But the days of waking up for 8 a.m. classes are done and left to her teammates and classmates.

Has Alanna completed her degree?

Rumor on CTblog that Marshall of NY is going to Notre Dame. Has she visited Stanford yet?

RE: Women's Basketball Updated Recruiting, Oct 28 - BobK - 04-14-2019

A while ago I read late April early May for a visit.

Some Boneyard posts say she is visiting ND this weekend. Is that what you mean by "going to", or is there a rumor she's committing to ND? I thought I saw a rumor (or maybe just someone's guess) earlier that Stanford and ND are her top two, FWIW.

RE: Women's Basketball Updated Recruiting, Oct 28 - Jskass - 04-14-2019

Let’s hope going to meant only visiting!

RE: Women's Basketball Updated Recruiting, Oct 28 - BobK - 04-14-2019

There is also Daniels to hope for and we have a commitment from Brink. 3 posts ?

She is visited ND this weekend with parents - no word of commitment on ND board
