He could have been injured or subject to some sort of discipline. There's no public information available.
Assuming he's able and permitted to play, I expect he'll get plenty of snaps this week.
U$C plays 3+ WRs almost 2/3 of the time per this analysis:Â http://thecardboard.org/board/index.php?topic=12817.0.
That suggests Stanford will be in the nickel approximately the same percentage of the time (maybe more).
When U$C does play 3+ WRs, we'll usually see Mitchell or Adoree, either of whom is a good size/speed matchup for #11.
Also, U$C plays a no-huddle offense, which means that the DBs will get a bit more tired and need more substitutions than they did last week against UCF's slower-paced offense.

Neither was Harris, and he's one of our starting cornerbacks. Add... Neither are Lloyd or Whitfield, and Holder an Murphy are in the same class as Alexander.
I agree that it is a bit odd that Alexander, who acquitted himself quite well last year as a backup cornerback and nickel back, is seemingly in the doghouse. I had expected him to start opposite to Harris going into the camp.

Alexander acquitted himself pretty well as a True Frosh. As far as we know, he may end up starting at CB next year.Â
Perhaps you can ask Andy Drukarev or David Lombardi to poll Shaw, Anderson, and/or Akina about Alexander's playing status?Â

So he at lease was in rotation as a freshman,that's to fast to out play someone.He didn't miss a tackle To gave up a TD.So that clearly not it! O not on the field enough to really get used like he did vs Washington State! Memory laps.After Utah game played much better.Im not buy he did something wrong,I'm buying they like other players!You can't correct mistakes by not getting an opportunity(#2) got several.
